3.4 Codes
Own codes are codes that can be agreed upon within the organization, which can be used to track exactly those things that are necessary or interesting locally and from the point of view of one's own operations. In order for them to be consistent, it is appropriate that they are recorded (based on a common need definition) by the main user.
There are many different possibilities to create your own codes, but you should plan and think carefully about creating them. With the help of codes, you get exactly the information that is needed locally, but too many codes easily cause "recording fatigue" - and then even the necessary information may not be reliable.
It is intended to change the codes only for typographical errors, it is not good to change its essential meaning. If Espoo were to move to Vantaa, for example, all Espoo's customers would then be from Vantaa. The 'Delete' button moves the selected code to the bottom of the list and is no longer available for client work. However, the code remains in the selections on the front page. The deleted code can be reactivated if necessary.
The codes are divided into common codes, detective codes and workshop codes. As the name suggests, the common codes are used on both the PARty and PARent sides, and you can access the searchers' codes.
You can create and edit codes by clicking the Codes button in the top corner of the front page.
