4.2.1 Logging into the program

Index

When logging into PAR systems, the desktop PAR shortcut or VBS login (PAR login.vbs) is recommended. With VBScript login, you can simultaneously open other Excel workbooks and, for example, copy information from them to the PAR program. Exceptionally, you can also log in from the PAR log-in.xlsm file, but then you cannot open another Excel workbook on your computer at the same time so easily. Both PAR login files are always stored in the User interface folder.

The PAR login screen asks for a username and password. Depending on your computer and the network in use, there may be a slight delay in opening the login screen. Enter your username (replace the last two X characters) and your own password and press 'Sign in'. When logging in, you can select the "Remember me" setting, so that the username will be visible the next time you log in. From the login window, you can also zoom in on the screen size, so that PAR opens on the screen in the size you want, and select the program's language FIN/SVE.

If you have access to both PARent and PARty, you can be logged in to both programs at the same time with VBS login. However, both sides require their own unique usernames and passwords. If you want both programs open at the same time, you must log in to both PARent and PARty programs separately.
