In these sections, we go through running the Customer Model from start to finish. Please note that new Statistics files are not imported separately, but are immediately used by the program when they are in the Statistics folder. The statistics are automatically retrieved over the network every time a PARkki report is taken, if a newer reporting base is available.

Folder selection

If you started AsiakkaanMalli from the same folder as the previous PARkiruumatinus.xltm file or used the Update button, the previous settings should now appear in the installation window. In this case, you can directly complete the installation by clicking the "Install / update PAR" button as shown in the picture.

If necessary, you can change the file location or write the missing directories directly in the window or select the right folder from the Browse button. The text below the address field tells you whether the directory you selected can be used. Select directories as follows:

• Directory for the database: The database directory must contain the PAR database v6.0.xlsb file or the SQL connection must be enabled
  
  
• Directory for attachments: Under the Attachments directory there should be subfolders "Etsivat" and "Workshops". Do not select these subdirectories, but the Attachments directory above them.
  
  
• Directory for statistics: It is not necessary to choose the Statistics directory differently from the previous one, but in this case the machines using the PAR system must have a working internet connection to the PAR system, and the firewall must not block internet traffic. If the connection is OK, PAR automatically retrieves the latest Statistics file from Google Drive for the user's own computer when taking the report.

When all directories are OK, click the Install / Update PAR button at the bottom. The installation program performs maintenance on the database and tells you when it finishes that the PAR login file can be found in the same folder where you started the Customer Template file. The update is now complete!
