6.10 Attachments

On the Attachments tab, you can attach contracts, certificates or other customer-related documents that are in electronic form on your own computer to the customer's information. The attachments are copied from the original location to a subfolder of the PAR program and the attachment appears on the page with the exact name as it was saved on your computer. Naming the file well in advance is therefore important!
All employees attached to the customer can see the attachments saved to the customer on the screen, from which the document or image can be saved to a new location or printed for example for the customer. When you open the attachment, you can also edit it until you save the changes and close the file. During the changes, the text "You can continue when you have closed the file" is visible in the PAR program. Only close this info box after making changes. If you made changes, the question will still appear on the screen: "The file has been changed. Are the changes saved?" The Yes selection makes a final save to the changed document.
Attachments are deleted when the customer is removed from the system or the attachment is selected from the customer's information and "delete" is selected. The attachments saved in the PAR system are stored in the Attachments subfolder of the PAR program, where the organization itself has defined read and access rights only for those employees who use the program. If the program is installed locally on only one computer, we recommend using encryption on the computer's hard disk, such as Bitlocker, to ensure data security of attachments.
