6.4.2 Termination of the period
Index
Information related to the end of the period is entered in the right block of the page. Mandatory information is only the customer's placement after the period. It is a good idea to mark the placement information after each period, even if the customer continues with a new contract at the workshop, in that case the placement is: still at the workshop. In connection with the termination of the customership, the space should be marked as terminated or under 1st year monitoring. If the period has ended, but the status has not been registered as completed, the letter A is displayed on the front page.
In the episode data, you can record whether the episode has been interrupted, whether the ending was controlled (jointly agreed, anticipated) or uncontrolled, and whether the continuation location is known or not. In addition, you can add a "reason for termination" menu to your own codes, if the organization wants to track termination with values other than placement.
The customer appears in the statistical calculation until the end date is marked! In the statistics, the customership is considered to have ended when an end date is marked for the last period (for all periods), regardless of what status of the customership is marked. If the customer has a new period after this, the customership also continues statistically.
Customers whose periods are missing information, such as the end date, can be found on the home page with the letter D code. Four weeks before the end of the period/agreement, the letter Z appears on the front page, followed by the number showing how many weeks of the customership are left.
The situation after a year
The customer's situation can be monitored in the following calendar year after the ending period. If the customer has been booked for a new period for the following year, the program identifies the situation as 'still in the workshop'. The situation after the 1st year means that the system has tracking information for the period that ended in the previous calendar year - so there is no need to monitor when exactly one year has passed since the end of the period. The follow-up of the client is voluntary, but recommended, because direct placement does not necessarily mean that the client has ended up in e.g. training or work after the coaching. The situation can also be monitored at a suitable monitoring time for the organization, for example every six months.
Employer and educational institution
Additional information can be written to the customer regarding the end of the period, as well as the employer and/or educational institution to which the customer will transfer. If there is a previous entry of these in the system, the information can be selected with the "Search" button. The Search button opens a window where you can specify information about transferring to an educational institution or a specific employer. The names of local educational institutions and employers can also be pre-saved in your own codes, in which case they will appear in the drop-down menu.
