7.2 Detectives' PARkki statistics
Index
In the detectives' PARkki statistics, you can find the tabs Personnel, Parking, Customer statistics, Getting started, Situation, Procedures, Situation, Termination and Info. On the Info page, you can find information about the calculation bases used in the calculation of PARkki statistics, the information is updated in connection with possible changes and becomes more detailed with surveys. You can also find information on calculation bases for some tables on different tabs. The purpose of these statistics is to harmonize national statistics and to give organizations the opportunity to research, search and filter their own data with various variables. Statistics develop based on national, regional and organizational needs, and new statistical bases are created based on these needs.
The personnel tab shows personnel information for the selection period. The table contains the names of the employees whose employment relationship is valid based on the start and end date. Employees for whom no end date has been defined will also appear, because then the employment relationship is considered to be valid. In connection with the annual statistics, a separate instruction is always given for checking and correcting this information if necessary.
It is important to check the "no information " sections in the PARkki magazine, which should be supplemented with customer information and then take the PARkki statistics again. On the Parking page, you can see the summary, which is visualized once a year on the nuorisotilastot.fi pages by organization and municipality. You can filter municipality-specific information from the Municipality menu. You can also view only the share of new customers in the customer volume in this magazine, but the entire year's volume is always visualized, and not just the newly started customers.
With the Customer statistics magazine, you can also view the number of customers based on their status, and with the help of the tables, you can view which group of young people have remained, for example, as contacts. The tables on this page have their own graphs for age and gender, mother tongue and education information for young people.
The table in the Getting started magazine answers the question: How did the young people come to search youth work?". You can view the information on this page, for example, regarding new young people who have been contacted by a certain municipality. The arrival information is retrieved based on the search time given in the table from the information of the young person's first period, if the young person has several periods recorded for the search time.
On the Situation tab, you can see the young person's starting situation when he started the investigative youth work, as well as the change that took place at the time of statistics. The information on the Situation page is imported from the young person's oldest situation record. The starting situation is therefore unchanged even in long customer relationships. The comparison is made with the young person's latest status line. You can view more detailed changes in situations by youth using the client list or within the PAR system.
The Toienpide magazine examines the measures taken by the young people who have been reached. On the page, you can see how many young people have already been marked with measures, and the application conditions show all measures or only new measures marked during the application period. If an end date has not been specified for the procedure, it can be valid for the customer in the accounting year and for the next calendar year on a calculated basis, however only until the customership is valid. By default, this page has the same view as the PARkki tab, in which case only one specific measure/youth/application period is valid, but if you wish, you can also display all recorded measures.
The Termination page retrieves information from the young person's most recent episode that meets the application criteria. A young person whose all periods have been terminated by recording the end date and the reason for termination is counted as terminated, regardless of the status of the client. On the Termination tab, you can also look at the duration of the customerships and the relationship between status and status and get an answer to the question: "How many of the young people reached are currently registered as active or even missing?".
