4.6 Storage and Backup

Recording

The data is always saved to the database with the Save button found in the top bar of the program. Listbox recordings save form data in line format on the screen, but the actual recording is done by pressing the Save button. For every recording made on the form, the recording time and the latest modification time, as well as the recorder, remain visible.

In connection with the recording, the pages are marked with the first recording time, the recording change time and the recording time. This information can mainly be found at the bottom of the forms, from which you can monitor the timeliness of entries, for example.

Stop logging by going to the home page or log out of the program by selecting Exit. If the program asks in this context whether to save data, then some changes have yet to be saved. There is always a notification about a successful recording.

Backup

The system makes backups on the network disk for 14 days. So if you have, for example, deleted some important data by mistake (contact PAR user support), the data will be stored for 14 days - and acting wisely even after that.
